1. Acceptance of Terms
By using VideoDuck, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including workspace owners and team members.
2. What VideoDuck Does
VideoDuck is an AI-powered content creation and management platform. We provide:
- AI video, image, and story generation using third-party AI providers such as Runway, Kling, Veo, Minimax, Luma, and Pika.
- Workspace management with creative direction settings — voice, tone, visual style, characters, and backgrounds.
- YouTube integration via OAuth for analytics syncing, performance tracking, and AI-powered insights.
- Trend discovery, AI-generated content ideas, and creator tracking tools.
3. Your Account
You need an account to use VideoDuck. You can register with email and password or sign in with Google OAuth.
You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, let us know immediately.
4. Workspaces and Connected Accounts
When you create a workspace, you can connect your YouTube channel to sync analytics and track content. By connecting, you authorize VideoDuck to access your channel data as described in our Privacy Policy.
You can disconnect your YouTube account anytime from workspace settings. This stops future data syncing.
You're responsible for the content and configuration of your workspaces, including creative direction, characters, backgrounds, and prompts you submit.
5. AI-Generated Content and Ownership
VideoDuck uses third-party AI providers to generate content from your prompts. Here's what you should know about ownership and responsibility:
What you own
You retain full ownership of the prompts you write and the creative direction you configure in your workspaces.
Usage rights
You're granted a broad license to use AI-generated content for personal or commercial purposes. However, AI-generated outputs are not exclusive — other users with similar prompts may receive similar results.
Your responsibility
You are fully responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all AI-generated content before publishing it anywhere. VideoDuck does not review or endorse content you create.
No guarantees
- AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unintended biases.
- Generation results vary based on model, prompt, and parameters.
- Content may be subject to moderation policies enforced by the AI providers, and some generations may be rejected.
For more details on how AI works on our platform, see our AI Usage Policy.
6. Acceptable Use
We want VideoDuck to be a safe, useful platform for everyone. You agree not to use it for the following:
Harmful or illegal content
- Content that is abusive, threatening, defamatory, or harassing.
- Sexually explicit content involving minors.
- Content that violates any applicable law or regulation.
- Content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights.
Deceptive content
- Deepfakes or content impersonating real people without their consent.
- Misleading content designed to deceive viewers.
- Fake reviews, testimonials, or endorsements.
Platform abuse
- Circumventing usage limits, rate limits, or content moderation.
- Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools without our written permission.
- Reselling or redistributing VideoDuck services or API access.
- Spamming, flooding, or intentionally overloading our systems.
7. Third-Party Services
VideoDuck integrates with external services. Your use of these integrations is also subject to their terms:
We're not responsible for the availability or practices of third-party services. Changes to their APIs or policies may affect certain VideoDuck features.
8. Payment and Billing
Some features require a paid subscription, including higher generation limits and premium AI models. Pricing and plan details are shown at the time of purchase.
We may update pricing with reasonable notice. Refund policies are specified in your subscription terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
VideoDuck is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Inaccurate, biased, or unexpected AI-generated content — you are responsible for reviewing everything before publishing.
- Consequences of publishing AI-generated content, including copyright claims, platform penalties, or audience backlash.
- YouTube, TikTok, or other platform bans, strikes, or penalties resulting from content you created or published using VideoDuck.
- Revenue loss, missed views, or underperformance of content created on our platform.
- Inaccurate analytics data or delayed syncing from connected platforms.
- Third-party service outages or API changes beyond our control.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior. You can also delete your account at any time.
When your account is terminated or deleted:
- Your access to VideoDuck stops immediately.
- Your workspaces, generated content, and account data will be deleted within 30 days, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Connected YouTube accounts will be disconnected and access tokens revoked.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post changes on this page and update the date at the top. Continued use of VideoDuck after changes means you accept the new terms.
For material changes, we'll notify you by email or in-app notification.
